Hello Age Friendly Vale Network,
The Vale 50+ Strategy Forum would like to invite you their community event in Penarth.
Event details
Tuesday 31 March
11.00am – 1.00pm
Belle Vue Community Centre, Albert Crescent, Penarth, CF64 1BY
Get to know the Forum, meet local people, and discover the support, activities, and services available in the community to help us all live and age well.
We’re pleased to welcome Phil Batchelor of Home Instead, who will be speaking about the importance of staying connected and the difference this can make to health and wellbeing. There’ll also be a free craft activity provided by Lauren and Savannah of CwmpasOT.
You’ll be able to chat or network with a range of local organisations and community groups, including Age Connects, Hourglass, Penarth Young at Heart, Value in the Vale, Deafblind UK, Vale Learning Centre, Valeways, and more.
We’d really appreciate it if you could share the attached poster with your friends and networks. If you’re able to print it and pop it on a local noticeboard, even better as this helps us reach people who aren’t online. And of course, there’ll be free refreshments on the day, including fruit and biscuits.
Accessibility:
On site: Disability Changing Facility with access for toilet and lifting equipment.
