Temporary Road Closure Notice – High Street, Cowbridge
Date: Sunday 28 June 2025
Time: 11:45am – 2:30pm
A temporary road closure has been approved for High Street, Cowbridge to facilitate a planned parade. Traffic management will be delivered by Conemasters, with operatives in place to manage vehicle movement safely.
Location of Closure
The closure will run:
- From the junction of Druids Green and High Street
- Westbound along High Street
- Ending near The Broad Shoard
Traffic Management Plan
The road closure will be implemented in two phases:
Phase One
- A Stop & Go system will be in operation
- Vehicles will be able to access Druids Green to turn around where required
- Traffic will continue to flow between The Butts and High Street until the parade begins
Phase Two
- Once the parade starts, the closure will be extended
- The route will be fully closed to ensure the safety of all participants
- Stop & Go operatives will temporarily hold traffic until the parade has passed through High Street and up The Broad Shoard

- Diversion signage will be in place throughout the duration of the closure
