Key Responsibilities:
Be the Star: Carry the ceremonial mace at Town Council events, including meetings, parades, and official ceremonies.
Handle with Care: Treat the mace with respect and ensure its secure storage.
Team Player: Coordinate with the Senior Mace Bearer and Council Officers to understand event details.
Lead the Way: Head processions and maintain proper protocol during ceremonies. Represent with Pride: Embody professionalism and respect for the Town Council. Dress to Impress: Keep ceremonial attire clean and presentable.
Event Support: Help set up and break down ceremonial areas as needed.
Assist with Duties: Provide support with other ceremonial tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
Age Requirement: Must be over 18.
Tradition Lover: Strong respect for ceremonial protocols.
People Person: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Endurance: Ability to carry the mace and wear ceremonial attire for extended periods.
