You are summoned to attend a meeting of the Town Council on Tuesday 24th June 2025 at 6:30pm, at the Cowbridge Town Hall Council Chamber and remotely by Microsoft Teams. If you are unable to attend, please inform Town Hall Officers prior to the meeting of the reason for your non- attendance.

20/2025 CASUAL VACANCY
Notice is hereby given that one casual vacancy exists for the ward of Cowbridge. This vacancy is advertised from Monday 16th June until midnight on Friday 4th July on the Cowbridge Town Council and Vale of Glamorgan Council’s websites and noticeboards.
An election will be held if TEN local government electors for the Cowbridge Ward give notice, in writing, of a request for such an election to the Returning Officer by midnight on Friday 4 July 2025. If no election is requested as below the Community Council will fill the vacancy by way of co-option.

41/2025 REVIEW OF ELECTORAL ARRANGEMENTS OF THE VALE OF GLAMORGAN
The Democracy and Boundary Commission Cymru are reviewing the electoral arrangements of
the Vale of Glamorgan with a view to considering and formulating proposals for future
arrangements. The 6-week consultation period begins on the 5th June 2025 and closes on 16
July 2025.
The Commissions ERP 2025 Policy and Practice document can be found on the Commission’s
website.

42/2025 NEW DEVELOPMENT NAME PROPOSALS
The Vale of Glamorgan Council have advised that they are considering names for the new development at Cowbridge Grammar School. They request confirmation of approval, any objections or new suggestions by 16th July 2025.
