Join the Remembrance Sunday Service and Parade!
On November 12th, a solemn service will commence at 10:55 am outside Cowbridge Town Hall.
The service, including wreath laying, will last approximately 20 minutes.
Following this, a dignified parade will be led by the Police Band, with participants including the Army, RBL, Air Cadets, St Johns, Guides, Scouts, Brownies, Community Representatives, Town Councillors, the Mayor, and Town Clerk.
The parade will march to the Holy Cross Church for a poignant 45-minute service, concluding with a return march to the town hall around 12:15 pm.
To ensure the smooth flow of the Service and Parade, an official road closure will be in effect from 10:30 am, spanning from just before Druids Green (Druids Green will not be closed) to the Broad Shoard.
This closure, supported by the Police, approved by the Vale Council, and overseen by Conemasters Traffic Management, will be temporarily lifted for 30 minutes once the Parade reaches the Holy Cross Church. Subsequently, it will be reinstated for the march back to the Town Hall.
We extend a warm invitation to the public to attend the service outside the town hall and witness the moving parade led by the Police Band as it proceeds to the Holy Cross Church.
