The Mayor and Mayoress of Cowbridge (Ancient Borough) with Llanblethian Town Council Cllr Geraint Baty and his daughter Hannah hosted a Christmas Coffee morning on Sat 6th Dec in Cowbridge Town Hall . Kate Lou Line Dancers provided excellent entertainment with opportunities to join in and learn some steps. The Mayor and Hannah were put through their paces. Delicious coffee for the event was provided by 96 degrees. There was a bumper Christmas raffle with plenty of prizes and winners. Mrs Ceri Harris won the first prize of a bottle of port. The raffle prizes were donated by Maple and Bean (coffee vouchers), The Pencil Case, Cllr Peter Carter, Rowley Knight, Emma and Alex, Ceri and Chris, Siân and Rob, Bev, Line dancers and the Mayor. The Mayor was extremely grateful for all the donations and has plenty more from Cowbridge Traders for future events. A grand total of £327 was raised for Motor Neurone Disease MND. There will be NO coffee morning in January the next one will be on the Saturday 7th February 2026.
