Cowbridge Christmas Parade: road closures and parking restrictions

Temporary road closures will be in place on Saturday 30 November 2024, between 2pm and 7pm, to support the Cowbridge Christmas Parade and help keep participants and spectators safe.

The closures are being arranged on behalf of Cowbridge & Llanblethian Town Council, with traffic management provided by Conemasters and support from South Wales Police.

Road closures

The closures will take place in two phases within the advertised times:

Phase one: Cowbridge High Street will be closed in both directions between its junctions with Aberthin Road and The Broad Shoard.

Phase two: Once the parade has finished at the Town Hall, the closure will be reduced to the section of Cowbridge High Street between its junctions with The Butts and Druids Green.

Parking restrictions

Parking bays along the High Street will be coned or barriered off by Conemasters, local police and Police Community Support Officers between 7am and 2pm on the day of the event.

Access and further information

Access to residents and businesses must be maintained throughout the closures. Residents and businesses in the surrounding area will receive a letter with further information, and information boards and traffic signs will be provided.
