A generous Cowbridge resident has donated three trees to Southgate Park. Earlier today, Councillor Biga John and Tim Stephens planted the trees with the assistance of Tomos and Erin.
Prunus ‘Hanagasa’ is a flowering cherry tree with beautiful dark orange leaves in autumn. It can reach a height of 3-8m and spread over 20 years.
Malus ‘Sun Rival’ is a crab apple tree with red fruit, growing to a height of 3m and spread over 20 years.
Malus ‘Contesse de Paris’ is a crab apple tree with yellow fruit, reaching a height of 4m and spread of 3m over 20 years.
Cowbridge Town Council express our gratitude to the resident for their kindness in enhancing the aesthetic charm of our wonderful town.
